$20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Hours:

30 hours per week

Weekdays required; occasional weekends with advance notice

Schedule may vary

As soon as possible

Job Duties:

Supervise and care for children (newborn and toddler) in employer’s private residence

Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children

Organize and lead age-appropriate activities

Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children

Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care

Support daily routines including feeding, naps, and hygiene

Accompany children to nearby parks and playgrounds (walking distance)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of verifiable childcare experience

CPR and First Aid certification is an asset (preferred but not required)

Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

Strong communication and time management skills

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit)

Employment is contingent upon successful reference checks and background verification

Work Setting:

Employer’s private residence in Ottawa, Ontario
