Caregiver / Health care assistant / Home care worker

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. This role involves working closely with clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. Prior experience in senior care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Monitor health status and report any concerns or changes to healthcare professionals or family members
• Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
• Assist with activities that promote independence and engagement in daily routines
• Follow care plans and document services provided accurately

Skills

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is preferred
• Strong patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy
• Knowledge of dementia care, senior care, and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Capable of meal preparation tailored to specific dietary restrictions or preferences
• Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail in all aspects of caregiving tasks
